Shelter Program

As we move into the new year, we are looking to expand and strengthen our partnerships with local shelters and advocacy groups. While we already work closely with shelters through fostering and direct collaboration, we are excited to offer additional programs designed to support staff, improve outcomes for dogs, and ultimately save more lives.

With the addition of another Master Dog Trainer to our team, we now have more flexibility to offer the following services:

Free Behavioral Evaluations

We will come spend an afternoon at your shelter evaluating any dogs you request. Simply send us staff observations ahead of time, and we will complete full evaluations with written notes and recommendations outlining the best path forward for each dog.

• Available within a 100-mile radius of Statesville, NC

• Completely free to the shelter

Shelter Handling & Behavior Seminars

These seminars are designed to support shelter staff and volunteers through practical, hands-on education. Topics include:

• Evaluating common behavioral issues

• Safely handling different types of aggression in a shelter environment

• Implementing quick, effective obedience and enrichment sessions throughout the day

The goal is to increase safety, enrichment, and adoptability while reducing stress for both dogs and staff.

• Cost: $300 within a 100-mile radius of Statesville, NC

• Cost increases only with extended travel or overnight stays

• Many advocacy groups choose to sponsor these seminars for shelters

Train to Rescue Program

Our Train to Rescue program focuses on dogs at risk of euthanasia. Dogs are removed from the shelter environment, placed into training, and prepared for rescue placement with improved behavior and handling skills.

• $2,000 for fully vetted dogs

• $2,500 for under-vaccinated and/or unaltered dogs

If any of these programs sound helpful for your shelter, we would love to connect and discuss how we can best support your team and your dogs in 2026.
